Connecting

Sunday Gathering

We come together on Sundays at 10:00 AM as a larger group to learn from the Bible, worship God, pray and celebrate what God is doing in our lives.

Children from infant through 6th grade meet at the same time as our Sunday Celebration.

The 3rd Sunday of each month, children in 1st through 6th grade join us in service for a time of prayer and worship songs and then are dismissed to enjoy an age specific time together.

Prayer

Come join us anytime on Sunday mornings between 8:00 AM to 9:45 AM for a time of corporate prayer.  There is also a corporate prayer time on Sunday evenings between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM.  Both the morning and evening prayer times are open ended for you to come and go as you find necessary.

Empty Nester's
Have the kids all left the nest? (Or perhaps you are just ready for them to!).  Join our group of Empty Nester's as they get together for road trips, vacations, Bible studies, potlucks, game nights and a generally good time.  If sitting around the house or on a park bench sounds like a good time, well, we could be a bit too fast paced for you.
Life Transformation Groups (LTG)

Every person who desires to follow Jesus needs the DNA (Divine Truth, Nurturing Relationships & Apostolic Mission) of discipleship present in their lives. At Central Assembly we've found that Life Transformation Groups (LTGs) are an essential tool for cultivating the DNA in our lives. As a result, joining an LTG is key to growing and connecting with others at Central Assembly.

In short, an LTG is a group of two or three people who meet once a week and commit to reading scripture (Divine Truth), holding each other accountable in areas of character (Nurturing Relationships) and praying strategically for friends and family (Apostolic Mission). Read on to better understand the three components of an LTG:

Divine Truth-Scripture (Luke 8:11, 15)
The power of the LTG lies in the unleashing of God's Word into the lives of people. Each group decides on a book of the Bible they will read that week. Reading entire books in repetition, in context and in community yields rich rewards!

Nurturing Relationships-Accountability (James 5:16)
Christians need one another (Hebrews 10:24-25). There is strength in relationships built around supporting one another. Therefore, the first thing the LTG does together when gathering is ask each other Character Conversation Questions listed on the LTG bookmark.

Apostolic Mission-Strategic Prayer (Matthew 9:36-38)
Each member of the LTG is to identify two or three people whom the Lord lays on their hearts that need Jesus. On the reverse side of the bookmark is the Strategic Prayer Focus. This is to remind group memebers to pray specifically for each of the people named on the card as they read their Bibles throughout the week. The LTG also works together to reach out to those they have listed.

Join or start an LTG! Contact Pastor Joe at 989-773-2221 or joe@centralag.org for suggestions on how to get connected with an LTG.

Fuel Students. We are a youth group for students (7th grade - 12th grade) in Mt Pleasant and Isabella County.  We meet every Wednesday at 7pm. Our "Pitstop" opens at 6pm and has games and snacks.
